This is a Jennings Horizontal paste TFE Extruder. I was charged with converting the machine from 480Vac to 230Vac. This required changing motor and transformer primary's. It also required installing heavier wire to supply the power to the pump motor and replacing the motor starter and overloads. I also added two Fuji Pyx4 Temperature controllers with solid state relays to control the extrusion die and product cylinder temperature to around 120 deg. F. |

BEFORE This is the Jennings curing / sintering oven temperature control cabinet. This photo shows the panels with the old Intertherm controllers and solid state power controllers. AFTER This is a photo after changing the controllers to new Fuji Pyx4 controllers and 40 amp Solid state relays with circuit breaker protection. I also added the panel ammeters to show current draw at each heating zone. This allows operator and or maintenance man to see if an element has failed or if a breaker is tripped. |
