Extruder Panel

I custom designed and built this panel for an older Sterling extruder. The cabinet is a
Hoffman Concept double door panel.

The drive system is a Saftronics 20 HP VG5 series A.C. Vector drive. The motor is a
Marathon electric Blue Max 20 HP unit with a 1024 p.p.r. Dynapar encoder and mount.

The Temperature controllers are Fuji PYX4 and PYX5 type controllers with fuzzy logic
control and RS485 communication options.

Power switching is accomplished by using 40 Amp solid state relays by Continental relay.

Drive speed and load indicators are Newport meters. Terminal blocks, Indicators,
Selector switches and Motor contactors are from Automation Direct.
